About Kate

I’m Kate, a freelance web designer based in Margate, Kent, working with clients across Thanet, Canterbury and the UK.

I build WordPress, Squarespace and Shopify websites for creatives, small businesses, charities and online retailers – with a focus on thoughtful design, accessibility and genuine collaboration.

Every project starts with research and consultation. I want to understand your audience, your goals and what makes your work unique before jumping into design. This means the final result isn’t just visually striking; it actually works for the people using it.

With over 15 years of professional experience and an art school background, I approach projects with creativity first – strong visual storytelling and attention to detail. I’m also Creative Director of Margate Film Festival, which keeps me closely connected to the local creative community.

I’m neurodivergent, which means I bring a different perspective to problem-solving and get genuinely excited hearing clients geek out about their work.
